Hit songwriter Brett James has been added to the lineup for the Wednesday, Oct. 31 CMA Songwriters Series show in Nashville (Marathon Music Works). The show, which kicks off at 8:00 PM/Central, also features previously-announced talent Kristian Bush of Sugarland, Brantley Gilbert and Bob DiPiero, who hosts the evening.
Brett James has a long list of hit songs to his credit, some of which include “Cowboy Casanova” by CMA Awards co-host Carrie Underwood, “The Truth” by Jason Aldean, “Out Last Night” by Kenny Chesney and “It’s a Business Doing Pleasure With You” by Tim McGraw.
During CMA Songwriters Series shows, the songwriters take turns telling stories of how their creations came to be, and then perform the songs as they were conceived.
